This project could fit into multiple categories. It is in a new, multi-floor industrial building with concrete decks in the heart of urban living. The clients moved from a rural area due to one of them suffering from a degenerative neurological disease that necessitates wheelchair dependency.

The logistical challenges were abundant, mostly centering on the limited amount of space available for a fully accessible shower. Given that the concrete deck could not be altered or structurally modified, providing a barrier-free shower was a solution resulting from a combination of creativity and engineering. After several years in the building, it still works extremely well for them.
