Fairway Kitchen

The greatest challenge for this project in Fairway, KS, was to deliver an entirely new dynamic by opening the space between the living room and the kitchen. This was accomplished by creating one large cased opening from the dividing wall between the two rooms, thereby creating a feeling of a more modern great room with its expansive space. This design brings family and friends together with food and entertainment. The rooms are very elegant and complement the French Country styling that the homeowners are partial to.

The custom cabinetry is highly stylized with inset doors, beaded openings, contrasting wood species island and glazed finishing at the painted cabinets. The elaborate exhaust hood over the cooking area draws attention as does the built-up countertop and farm sink at the island. These refined features were exactly what the homeowners were hoping to achieve with this project.
