The homeowners wanted a modernized kitchen with updated appliances while recognizing their preference in traditional tastes. By introducing some rustic and industrial elements into the design with shelving and lighting, we were able to capitalize on blending some contemporary features in a more traditional setting. The contrasting custom cabinetry with inset doors showcases both stained and painted finishes that complement the beautiful stone countertops.

Given that the homeowners entertain and spend a lot of time with their family in the kitchen, it was important to have good access to the space. The resulting design lends itself to a couple that loves to cook while being with their friends and family, as our clients do. The floating shelving offers a “less is more” feel to the overall space.
