From Feb. 6-8, the LifeWise Renovations and Wineteer Construction team participated in the KC Remodel + Garden Show. We want to thank everyone who stopped by our booth. For anyone who missed the show, we have included some great pictures of our display with Mike Dodd, president and CEO of Wineteer Construction and LifeWise Renovations.
The goal for all of our custom-designed projects is to create a greater quality of life for our clients…but one project specific to this KC Remodel + Garden Show found a special place in our hearts. Our team, along with 11 other local members of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), created a colorful exhibit featuring extravagant pet houses. These doghouse entries were featured in a silent auction at the show to benefit the KC Pet Project. Altogether, the silent auction raised over $4,500!
The fundraiser was inspired by Roadrunner, a Tibetan spaniel whose eyes were surgically removed after a period of alleged severe abuse. Following the show, an amazing announcement was shared that Roadrunner is officially being adopted by his foster family. According to KC Pet Project, “His foster mom is member of our KC Pet Project staff and in fact, was the individual who carried him off the animal control truck when he first arrived at our shelter severely injured and scared.”
