Outdoor kitchens have become a specialty niche that many companies engage in. While we haven’t performed many overall, this is an example of one that was installed over an Ipe deck that Wineteer originally undertook in 2005. Integrating the kitchen into the deck, both in terms of scale and using sustainable materials, was the biggest challenge. The Koi pond’s stone provided the perfect opportunity to tie the two elements together.
The homeowner loves outdoor cooking, so we designed a location for his beloved Big Green Egg alongside a natural gas cooktop. The granite countertop and stone facing materials lend themselves to the casual, outdoor setting. It is an ideal scenario for a couple who spends a lot of time outside and entertain frequently.
