BackProviding Peace of Mind for Your Next Bathroom Remodeling Project01/16/17

WTC Bathroom Remodel

Considering a bathroom remodel in 2017?

Here are a few questions the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) recommends you think about prior to starting your project:

  • What features would make the bathroom more comfortable for you?
  • How many people will be using it?
  • Are there enough sinks and counter space for everyone?
  • Are there enough bathrooms in the house or should you consider adding another one?
  • Do you prefer to take showers or baths?
  • Do you have adequate storage?
  • Do you have adequate lighting?
  • Have you considered newer water-saving fixtures?

Knowing the right questions to ask of potential contractors prior to starting a project can provide peace of mind, knowing your remodeling project is in the right hands:

  1. How long have you been in business?
  2. Who will be assigned as project supervisor for the job?
  3. What is your approach to a project such as this?
  4. How many projects like mine have you completed in the past year?
  5. Can you provide a list of references from those projects?
  6. Have you or your employees been certified in remodeling or had any special training or education, such as earning a Certified Remodeler (CR) or Certified Kitchen & Bath Remodeler (CKBR) designation?

DID YOU KNOW FACT: Michael Dodd, Wineteer Construction’s President and CEO, holds three NARI certifications: Certified Kitchen and Bathroom Remodeler (CKBR) and Green Certified Professional (GCP) and Master Certified Remodeler (MCR)–one of only three people with this distinction who are serving the Kansas City area.
